Just under a week after it's initial early access release, the very first update for Realms of Conflict is now available! Let's see what's new in v0.2.0!

Realms of Conflict development is now in full swing, and the first content push since the initial release brings new quests, new items, new enemies and new areas to explore.

You can now leave the opening Ruins of Hamintona area and venture out into the wider Dunillin Kingdom area. While this area is still "under construction," there are still a few new areas to check out, new NPC's to meet, new quests to tackle, and even a nice My Colony themed easter egg waiting for you to find!

There are also some new features for you to check out as well. If you open the main game menu, you will see some new sections, including the Journal, the Bestiary and the new Achievements section!

The Journal gives you a log of everything you have done in the game so far, and can be a great guide if you ever forget what an NPC has asked you to do, or where they have told you to go.

In the Bestiary, you will find information on all of the enemies you have encountered so far in the game, as well as a counter showing how many times you have defeated each type of enemy.

Finally, Achievements have now been added to the game. You will need to sign in with an Ape Apps Account to use the Achievements system. Coming soon though, achievements will also be available via Google Play games, Apple Game Center, and Steam.

While Realms is in this super early development stage, you can expect content updates on a near weekly basis. I plan to publish to the Windows Store later this month (the Windows Store will basically just be the PWA with some upgrades allowed by Store apps). The iPhone release is planned for shortly before Thanksgiving, and the Steam release is tentatively planned for December 15 (pending Valve approval).

In the meantime, check the game out on either Android or in the browser, and leave your feedback via the in-app feedback dialog, or join the discussion on the official Discord server.

Finally, I should note that while Realms of Conflict is in early access, the premium upgrade price is set at $6.99, but will be going up sometime next year when the early access period has ended. So check the game out over the coming months, and if you like what you see, consider upgrading before the early access period ends!
