The ancient Roman city simulation and resource management game Antiquitas has just been updated to v2.2.0 and the new release should be hitting all available platforms over the coming days. Here is a look at what is new!

Primarily this release is a bug fix rollup, bringing forward all of the recent patches from the base game code in My Colony. And as with the most recent My Colony release, Antiquitas builds now come bundled with all of their core game files instead of downloading them from the server on first launch. While this makes the actual game package larger, it also means that current builds of Antiquitas will be able to survive if the main game server ever dies.

Important to note, the next update to Antiquitas will be removing the Ape Chat integration from the game, as the Ape Chat service is being phased out. All future Antiquitas discussion is to be moved over to the official Ape Apps discord channel:
