In 2017, I launched the official Ape Apps online forums using a custom forum software that I wrote myself from scratch. I really loved the custom forum application that I built, and there were a lot of good community discussions that took place on the forums.

Fast forward to August 2025. After years of fighting against spammers (which really went into overdrive with new AI Spam bots), the introduction of new government regulations regarding age verification across the globe, and the reality that a large percentage of the Ape Apps community discussions have already moved on to the official Ape Apps Discord server anyway, I have decided to retire the Ape Apps Forums.

By the way, I did retain the complete database for the old forums. When I get around to it, I plan to put up an archive site with all of the old forum content, so check back in on this page from time to time, as I will be putting the link here once the archive site is live.
