Native Diplomacy

HELLO GUYS.

Sometimes when you are colonizing a new planet you cannot always get rid of native population.
Natives are major local dwellings, but they are not simple as you think. Most of the natives you'll encounter are intelligent and runs in well organized groups, varies from a small settlement, to a large clan of many tribes.

Their settlements spawns randomly but will remain a certain distance in-between no matter the tribe. Distance depends on map types.
Some native clans are nomadic, which they are more common on barren planets. Once they have stayed long enough, they will move to a new random location.

You'll need to deal with natives whenever they occupies the resource you want, or they gets into your way of colony expansion.
There are a few options to manage this business:
  • Trade
    Establish trades with them so you can get what each other needs. The most harmless way to obtain resources.
  • Assimilate
    Spread your influence into the native settlement, so you can slowly turn the settlement into part of your colony.
  • Request Resettlement
    A risky way to get rid of the natives by pressuring them to move away. Will always harm relations, however they will move away from your colony if you succeed.
  • Ransack
    PILLAGE AND BURN INTENSIFIES. Well forget this. I don't think some history should take place again.
  • Conquer
    Take over a settlement with brute force.
  • Gift
    Just in case something goes not right that they become angry, a gift for them might be able to pacify them... at least a bit.

Different native tribes will have different characteristics:
  • Nomadic
    Some of their settlements may relocate every year.
    It is easier to ask them move away.
  • Traditionalist
    They have very strengthened social bonds. Assimilation will cause larger discontent, and it is less effective.
    They never trades exotic resources.
    Very unhappy to see their 'holy' resources being pillaged by anyone.
  • Cooperative
    They will be more likely to accept your requests.
  • Protective
    Will not accept anything that harms their interest.
    More sensitive to your activities near their settlements.
  • Militant
    These natives are born warriors.
    More likely attacking your colony if you have bad relations with them.
  • Xenophobic
    Unlikely to cooperate with you.
    Extremely sensitive to your activities near their settlements.
  • Traders
    More likely to trade with your colony.
  • Open Minded
    These natives like new stuff. Assimilation is more effective on them.
  • Permanent Settlers
    Don't try asking them to move away. Not only they are very unlikely to accept this demand, you'll also provoke them.
    Damaging any of their settlements will worsen relations with them very badly.
  • Psychologically Weak
    It is easy to pressure this native tribe to do anything you asked for.
    Less likely to resist your military actions.

Each map may spawn at most 3 native clans (factions).
