How to Get Sponsors
Each faction has its own set of sponsors. But generally your colony can sign contracts with better and more sponsors when your colony has been performing well - reflected by Prestige value, which increases by finishing quests and exporting.
Signing Sponsor Contracts
In order to successfully sign a contract with a sponsor in order to earn useful assistance, in most cases sponsor often will ask you to finish a quest given by them to test whether you are a worthy investment.
After meeting the necessary requirements, the contract will be signed officially and put in act.
Ending Sponsorship
Some sponsor contracts may have maintenance cost. In case you think the contract is not relevant anymore, you can end a contract... which comes with some costs.
