Ape AI is a private on-device browser-based AI application from Ape Apps. One of the powerful features of Ape AI is it's ability to share it's models and capabilities remotely with other applications in the Ape Apps ecosystem, even with apps running on remote devices. These capabilities are unlocked by establishing a direct peer-to-peer connection from Ape AI to the remote application through the users' Ape Apps Account.

Setup is seamless, and the entire process is designed to "just work." In order to use Ape AI in a supported application, you only need to meet the following requirements:

• Sign in to both applications using the same Ape Apps Account
• Have the Ape AI application running in the background

Ape AI is primarily a web application and can be installed on your system using a chromium-based web browser using the standard PWA app install flow. When you are in Ape AI, there should be an install button at the top of the main settings dropdown menu. You can get and install Ape AI for free from:

Once you are signed in, you can simply keep Ape AI minimized, remote applications can automatically request and spin up models as needed.
