Etet's Wall

Question: I have tplink router Vr2100v which has a USB plugged at USB port. I also have a Dylink Nas DNS-320L which is connected by cat 5 cable to one of the router's lan ports. Using a software called CX File Explorer, I can access the USB connected at the USB port of the router. I can access both internally and from outside the lan. To access outside lan I entered my static external IP and then my user name and password using port 21 in CX explorer.
My problem now is that because the USB stick is already using port 21, I cannot access my NAS storage files as. 21 port is used. I tried to do a port forwarding on the internal IP of the NAS and got this error message: "Error code 4628. The cute settings conflict with the Internet access of the USB file server."
Any other port to use? All I want to achieve is to be able to access my files on my harddisk inside the NAS and share photos when away from my local network or remotely day from a friend's place. I rung up Dylink tech support but all they told me was to try port. 8080 and 2021 which both did not work. Any advice is highly appreciated

thanks
