This is me in a nutshell, currently losing millons of alu, gold, uranium, etc

I did, but the black screen occured at a later time

I have this happen occasionally as well, but as a temporary workaround they'll sometimes automatically build them if you pick the mines directly from the build menu.

I'm having the same issue with mine (android), never flipped any buildings

Also oddly I'm able to access the statistics tab and such, sometimes it'll let me pan a bit across the map before it freezes again

I was going through one of my subterranian homes, and I clicked on one of the unemployed colonist's name's (there was an oddly large amount of unemployed colonists in this one unit). After I clicked on it and tried to hire the colonist, the screen froze up so I hit the back button and it saved. Now whenever I load the colony, it immediately freezes.

Additionally, my colonist population is at 4,365/0, while all of the other stats are loading correctly

Other than making a huge amount of durable goods warehouses, is there another building available that will store large amounts of microchips?
