For building bigger settlements I am leveling down terrain to make building process easier. However from time to time a bug triggers - terrain elevations are regenerated and rerandomized. I then need to relog to actually see new terrain and relevel it once again. And destroy all resources on it. This is extremely frustrating bug.

update2: seen other player mentioning similar issue in chat. My old mining settlements 'merged' into main one right in that problematic corner. Could this cause an issue? But I have not found how to delete a settlement (deleting all its buildings does not remove it from the list)

update: It seems I broke something :) restarted and looks like game is just not calculating a lot of buildings in economy. Material storage capacity is lower, people/job/capacity numbers are lower. Power/water/bandwidth showing being way overcapacity.

edit: ok, this was caused my all of my colonists disappearing somewhere. Now they are regrowing and stats are improving.

Can not build any building that requires anything more than advanced builder bot. It is at the edge of my city - maybe that causes some issues? Video example below (yt butchered video quality):

my understanding they have limited range. You need to get outposts near resources (with logistic stations) to get them mining.

If you need just a bit of gold to get through, manually move your rovers roughly midway from settlement and nearest gold ore, order them to harvest and keep screen in the same spot. You can get just a bit extra this way :)

Hello,

when building multiple buildings side by side, you can press rotate building after selecting where building would be and it (it's 'foundation') would rotate even if they clip in each other.

Hi,

I'd like to be able to select/unselect buildings, which are visible in the building menu. This would allow switching between different categories and just use 'All Buildings' for a quicker selection.

Yes!! I really want that - have a region with more than a dozen of colonies and one of them are consuming wood like no tomorrow... which one? :)

this could be visible only in region view: i.e. while in colony, flow would be 'regional', but in region view exact colonies would be listed, which is contributing it in/outflows.

I have seen some similar posts - so if this is a duplicate, just point me to the right direction :)

coming back at 0.73 and started Region. But trying to resume saved game become a challenge - mostly i receive an error message (attached). Sometimes after 2-10 tries I can enter my region, where entering different cities is not a problem at all. Using win10 app.

not exactly sure how Colony backup process works, but if I just copy my save files somewhere and copy back if I need to restore, will that work properly?

not sure if this is related: i started new regional yesterday, was all fine, left game and it saved the city. Today can't even get into region, fails at 'syncing data'... (win 10)

Hello,

since rivers have unlimited water, it is very easy to position water tower 1 block away and have water bots gathering at the max speed. However - will that cause more lag than just having bunch of condensers? Since 1 bot is 1k water, I am talking about 100-500 of bots gathering :)

couldn't find this out: if i remember correctly, colonists will be happy with 25 tiles distance to work and 50 tiles distance to entertainment. How about healthcare and education buildings?

Hi,

I think 'Upgrade road' window should let you choose ANY other eligible road type, so you can change all your roads to 'side-grade' if you want. Should still display +/- speed difference between the new and the old road.

are you down for that?
