A lot of my colonists are homeless (22%) and I don't know why. I don't have more homes than people and only 0,1% of the people is unemployed.

I'm playing this game on Windows 10, via the windows store app. I've had this problem for a while now and it takes on different formes. Sometimes the auto save keeps saving forever, and any progress I make isn't recorded. Sometimes I want to quit, but when I save the game, there is no response and I have to quit without saving and wishing I didn't lose to much of my progress.
The third form had the most impact, since it corrupted my save file. I saved the game, but it got stuck in the 'compressing-data'-mode. When I quit the game and restarted it, the save file was corrupted.
Is there any way to get it back?
