The only reason why you might consider this is aesthetics, having just one resource generating building (the Research Converter) is boring, and you might consider this as a method of reintroducing some more variety into the endgame. Yes, certain alien tech buildings are more efficient than Research Converters at making specific resources (plastics, microchips, steel etc), but it might be nice to have a reason to keep brick factories, potteries and other colourful buildings by making them slightly more efficient than the RC at making their specific resource.

Yes, the embassy would be far better if you could use it to make regular swaps between players, using gifting. If this could be automated, it would be brilliant. Restoring the ability to tell where an embassy came from would be nice as well. Hovering the cursor over it to bring up whose data for instance.

I can see a need for different construction bots for different build types, but perhaps an ability to upgrade them might be beneficial, ie builder bots upgrade to advanced with tech, drones to turbo etc, but what about a dedicated cargo bot, that can be upgraded to greater carrying capacities with tech, to transport resources?

I would prefer having rovers at least for building purposes, it gives a sense of accomplishment which instant construction doesn't offer. The harvesters on the other hand could be replaced with a harvest rate, similar to that for production on regions

Now have the copy of 0.78 from Microsoft Store, building issue sorted, as is the case of the disappeared ocean. Thanks.

On both of the map types that have had these problems, I cannot get the backed up/saved game to load, and a datafile corrupted message appears.

Has anybody reported the vanishing water/ocean bug on waterworld and earth-like maps? It has happened to me on three city maps so far, in the 0.77.0 version with Multi-threading pathways OFF, on Region map types. Another bug is that builders have stopped building on two maps so far(same parameters), which kind of defeats the purpose of a city-building game.

When you build a Gaul version Gold Mint or Gold Smelter, it will appear at first; however when you restart the game, the Gaul versions disappear to be replaced with Roman versions.

It is also annoying that the screen message "Oil depleted" keeps appearing, when you cannot even import oil.
