Ape Apps

Hi. So I installed Network Browser on my up-to-date Fire TV and connected on the local server. I'm actually very happy with it when it comes to using it for audio and video but I wonder why I'm not able to see any of my photos on there, it just shows a blank screen when I click on one, any ideas what the issue might be? These would be standard JPGs or a couple of MB in filesize. Thanks in advance.
