I'm a little bummed about the change to the gifts from the galactic emperor. It was a small easy way to support the game, with and added "thank you".
As a premium user, your not forced to watch the ads if you don't want.
Although 90% of the time it didn't work (wouldn't let me watch the ad). But I always tried to give the "free" support.
