My Colony Save “Frozen”

This has happened a couple of times. I load up my save, everything moves for a couple of seconds then proceeds to slow down and freeze. However, the numbers keep on changing, but not in the right way. Numbers that were going down continue into negatives. Builds have no more interfaces when clicked on. This is the second time it has happened. Btw I am on a iPad Air 2.
