So I play as LIS on medium map size asteroid.
I have made a bunch of money primarily from jewellery stores.Of which I have 46.
I had gained a fortune of 3.5-4 million again mostly out of diamond money.
It suddenly disappeared cause when I looked I had somewhere near 20k.I had auto budget on.Is there any logical explanation for this?

hmm...if you're not independent and auto budget is on...
c20 x 46 = $920 not significant enough to drain that much cash...
you might have alot of tax heavy buildings and how much are you paying your people?
gold mints..i used to think were expensive but their tax is $20 per building and fully staffed with happy workers it can easily pay for itself.
this is semi-why i don't leave this game idle as an entire colony 10k can die off in under 30 minutes.

lord there was and may still be a rare money bug two accutly .
one that when you leave and reenter the game will take every coin you have .
if you see it right away coins will read NAN then restart at 0 .
the other sometimes the colonists will get sure wealthy having 100 of million of coins each .
the suer wealth bug has probly been fixed the coin lose bug may not be as it is so rare he may not have found the cause yet.
no amount of buildings tax will wipe 3 million coins and you would have to be paying a 100 k over 30 - 50 coins in what ever jobs to hit that kind of payroll .

Thanks for the replys lads.I still haven't figured out what that was.My last tax was 25 k and my payroll is very little.I tripled my jewellery stores and got back up to 4 million easily. It's not that big of a deal.
