Please help me
I made a backup of my game every time I play and I accidentally deleted my game but now I can't restore it. It's all greyed out. Im on current iOS, and I'm on iPhone SE
I don't know if I'm just doing it wrong or what, but I spent a lot of time on this and I will be a little sad if I can't get the world back. I still have the backup in apple drive

Yeah it's my colony on iOS the back up was a version before the current one
Ok, so I just tested it on my iPhone and game files on iCloud drive are greyed out on mine too, so it must be a bug I've got to fix for the next update :-/
Do you have Facebook? You can use the Cloud Sync option to import your game save that way, but you would probably have to get the file off of your iCloud using a desktop computer first.
Otherwise I will put this bug on my list to make sure it gets corrected for the next update :-/ Sorry about this!

How do I do it with Facebook?
So there is a web app version of My Colony here that you can play on your Desktop computer:

From there, you sign into Facebook (option at top of slide out menu, it might happen automatically).
Get the .mcz file off of your iCloud drive, and import it into the Web version of the game. Once you are in your game, open the Statistics screen, and turn on the 'Cloud Sync' option. Save your game.
Back on your iPhone, log into Facebook the same way. Then when you go to load your game, your save should appear in your saved game listing.

How do I import it I'm on the computer on the drive with my colony and drive open I see the file what do I do from here

On the computer, did you turn on Cloud Sync for your save file on the Statistics screen?
If so, on your phone, log into Facebook from within My Colony (the login button is at the top of the slide-out menu).
Then on the main screen, choose 'Load Colony' and your save should show up in the list. If it doesn't, you might have to completely back out of the game and open it again. (close it by double-tapping home button and swiping it away)
