When I click on a wandering person i can either hire or change job. Once i do a small box appears in bottom left corner that says "hire-worker-header" with Cancel under it .... Anything else I click on won't give info unless i hit the cancel button to clear the box in which cancels whatever was started.
Is there a way to fix this bug in an upcoming update?
Just wondering how long does it take a person to change jobs after selecting that option when you click on it and does that person continue after cancelling the bug issue??
The job should be reassigned right away, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are going to go to work right away. Each colonist sort of works on a daily cycle where 1/3 of the day is sleep, 1/3 work, and 1/3 either wandering around, using entertainment, medical, or whatever else they want to do.

Ok, that's understandable but does it still work for even with the issues i posted about earlier where I have to click cancel to do anything else (like to select another civilian or a building) in the game??
Another question.... I am now able to upgrade my bronze smelters to the "Aes Liquator" and now have room for new workers. After i build new homes to increase my pop the worker numbers dont change and I still have unemployed numbers when i put mouse over pop number. Why are my civilians not working or going to work?
They do not go to work instantly. Whether or not they go to work depends on their energy, health, mood, and if they want a job. There is no guarantee of 100% employment
