Possible Issue in v1.1.9

#1 2018-05-22 14:35:55
I can't seem to get any of the apps to get past the title screen.

I've tried on a couple of different PCs (Linux Mint 18.3) on different networks. With My Colony, My Starship, and Death 3D all will pop up the a new window as normal but will not get past the screen that says "Loading". I've removed, downloaded a fresh copy, and reinstalled the launcher. I've also removed the apps from the launcher and added them back with the same result.

The native client and HTML5 versions of the apps all work fine and everything worked normally under v1.1.8 of the launcher.

I am going to be posting a 1.1.10 update soon which works for me on Windows, Mac, and Linux (Fedora 28). Let me know if you have any better results :-/

The update is out. If it does not help the issue, try to delete the app itself from the Launcher sidebar and reinstall it. You shouldn't lose any saved data.

No change unfortunately. I removed all the apps from the launcher. Removed v1.1.9 and did a clean install of v1.1.10, then added the apps back. Still getting stuck on the loading screen.

Interesting. I will download Linux Mint and attempt to reproduce/debug.

Can you try going to your ~/.config/Ape Apps Launcher directory and delete everything from there, and see if that helps? or maybe just do an rm -r '~/.config/Ape Apps Launcher'

Removed ~/.config/Ape Apps Launcher directory, then removed the launcher completely. Did a fresh install of the launcher and downloaded My Colony and My Starship to test. No change unfortunately. Still getting to only the loading screen.
