The load colony function is a useful feature if :-
- Vehicles stuck in obstacles. Set the vehicle to move, harvest or build. Then exit and reload. The vehicle will move automatically or just one space, keep reloading till it gets out
- Sometimes firedrill might cause colonist to wander or attached to a building but show unemployed. Reloading seem to fix this
- Generally reload seem to reset certain random stats like trade prices, random seed number generator, so if in doubt just reload
