More layers for structures and ground

You should probably add an additional structure layer to the game, putting floor tiles on a different level so that structures can be built on top of floor tiles. That way you don't have ugly planet colored ground below buildings that don't fill the entire tiles they occupy with nice smooth roads next to them.

Adding on to this, a possible floor building bot can be used to pave the area with floor tiles, instead of the standard bots. This would allow you to make that specific bot be able to pass through all structures so that it can replace and upgrade floor tiles under buildings. Not to mention, a bot that would be able to build floor tiles while other bots are busy working.

Putting in models and code to literally fill in the cracks doesn't sound like an effective use of time while a game is in beta development. At best I would say have the base of all models flush with the borders of each border in the grid, but that can probably wait for a future update. There are more important things to fix/add.
