These are a few changes and improvements to water worlds I feel are necessary for the water world to reach its full potential. The ideas are split up into sections but I feel they are all necessary for the game.
Make an omnidirectional version of the bridges called bridge crossings. They will have posts at the corners but unlike bridges have no walls. This way you can make the bridge a single rotatable building and make it premium but there will still be "bridges" in the non-premium. I feel this would be better than the current workaround.
I feel we need a way to build normal buildings on water, so can you please add a way to build expensive platforms on water that you can build normal buildings on? This would be absolutely great!
Similar to the floating platforms, can we have saltwater, freshwater, and ether trenches we can build that count as the same terrain as the normal resource it is built from? It could have the same texture and everything but I want a way to build this stuff.

I am nerdy programmer that happens to like games made by ape apps. At some point in my life I am hoping to start a company and make games.

Originally I wished to use the mesh as the intersection for bridges. But indeed, something that looks better should exist.
Claim lands from water? A wise idea! But a floating platform seems nothing logical to support a heavy facility... It’ll sink...
I’m not quite sure about whether trenches are useful :D
But a nice idea...
