Ape Apps Domain was Hacked
Users who tried to access any Ape Apps services this evening may have had issues connecting. Somebody had hacked my domain host account and repointed the ape-apps.com domain to a different server, which messed things up. The issue has been resolved and security on the account has been increased, but it may take a few hours for the name servers to reset across the internet. Luckily I caught it fairly quickly.
No data or personal info was lost or compromised. For one I don’t collect or store any personal info to begin with, but the hack also only impacted the domain name, not the actual servers.
