Are buildings still considered accessible if they are connected to a road diagonally (like two of the aluminum generators in the image below) or do you need a full square for it to be considered accessible?

Yes (I can't send pictures to prove it right now but when selecting a building it normally shows how colonist can access it through marking plates green)
