Stuck on "Doing Cleanup..."
Whenever I try opening my save file, "Doing Cleanup..." pops up and never disappears...
it's strange, i tried it with his gamefile on my computer to check if the problem was with his connection or something and it does the same with me. His colonial website says population 0. As if its banned from the server or something

Make a manual backup of your colonies. There are instruction on how to do so in the FAQ which is linked below in my signature. Making a manual backup should be done often since the game is still in beta release and is under heavy development.
