Any way we could get someone to add a registration email resend option added?
My ISP magically reset my spamblocker setting to its highest and blocked the registration email. There was no way to get it resent after I reset things, but my usual email address was showing as already used.

As long as you send from the email address that you used to purchase the mobile license you don't have to provide anything else.

If You made that link bigger and say black so the link stands out and add in Upload premium file change photo and other high lv account items for people who like me can be totally dense it could save you the time of doing it your self . I did not see a way to suggest stuff for ape apps. So I used this because I think this was the closest. So my problem is that I used a school email when first making my account! But now I cant change it. I think that there should be a option to change the email your ape apps account is connected to! Please make a way because when I leave my school I will not be able to play this awesome game. I have been playing for a while and would hate to lose all my progress! :(😟

@Krane Send an email to support@ape-apps.com from the email you used to purchase the premium version through the Play Store. Ask for the multi-platform key. It may take a few days so please be patient.
I did add author originally, but I looked at the RSS spec and the author field required an email address to be valid and I did not want to make users' email addressed public.
Perhaps I will create a special namespace for the forum and add some kind of <apeapps:author> tag with just a username and perhaps a url for profile page and profile picture.

Do a search on your PC for files ending in .mcb or .mcz. These are the file extensions that My Colony saves your files with. If you don't have any backups for your colony, then there's nothing that can be done to restore your colony. Always make backups.

Thank you for your reply. When I attempt to sign in I get a message that there is no account associated with my email address. Even though that is the email address to which my receipt for payment for the premium service was sent. I expect I'll just cough up another $2.00!

you can email the file to support@ape-apps.com and i can take a look. If it didn't get saved completely though it will probably be a partial file and will not be recoverable :-/
After you pay with PayPal you get redirected to a website that lets you download the file. The link also gets sent to your email. It's easy to use, you can either go to the 'Remove Advertising' link in the menu again and it will let you browse to the file, or you can drag/drop it into your browser window. I think the drag/drop only works if you are not on the title screen, so you have to be in the game.

Had to ban a few colonies today for posting invalid GBT trades that I would have missed if not for an email I got. Use this forum to report anything you see in the online game that may be inappropriate, be it hacked trades, abusive behavior, inappropriate names, etc. That way it is easy to find and deal with. Include as much information as you can.

Hey guys, i purchased the game and the devs have sent me the key a few months back, sadly i deleted my emails due to a massive spam attack on my account, i can actually still play but if i want to install the game on another device i will have no key.

any reason why my workers just decide to stop working? i have 50 million food storage and i have had my workers just decide to stop making food and everybody dies..
is there some documentation on what motivates the workers, how to achieve maximum productivity, etc? this game is fun but its frustrating as shit in that everything is a shot in the dark
more clarification on what contributes to your approval rating and what effect your approval rating has on productivity and all the math behind it would be extremely helpful, particularly on pay, fire drills, etc.
while i'm at it there needs to be a bot reset button and a get your ass to work button. as it is now you need to start a new project to compel stationary bots to do work on pending projects (except in rare cases where they randomly decide to start on their own).
also multi select on objects to destroy many at once is mandatory. this bulldozing one at a time x10,000 is for the birds. i built like a thousand solar towers and had to kill them one by one because i replaced them all with one diamond crystal reactor.. or at least give me a 4x4 and 8x8 bulldozer?
there are bugs in the native client that no matter if your pending object fits or not it states "location blocked" across the entire screen
population heatmaps and homeless heat maps would be cool so we know where to build houses/jobs and help the unemployed/sick/homeless. this could probably be written into the engine and controlled from that menu like colonists, animations, fps cap, etc.
also global board of trade went from the heart of the entire economic infrastructure of the game to a mini-mart with bite sized fun snacks. the bug the hacker dude (thanks dude lol) used was fixed with price controls and api cooloff time. so restore real lot sizes pls. being able to filter by size would be cool too so whales and tadpoles can shop at the same place and find what they need without scrolling through 10,000 lots of 100ea. i stored quite a bit of stuff bouncing it off the board of trade like free two day storage. that got 'fixed' with decay, but it seems arbitrary to cap productivity and economic throughput when the board of trade served a useful purpose in this regard.
also a lot of people made out like bandits when the gbt went whacky, and their resources are dwindling due to decay and limited by storage, but the ability to do big deals for big money would be nice. everything is dirt cheap now because of this windfall, but eventually we will find equilibrium between supply and demand and prices will return to normal, so if it int broke, please don't fix it. punishing users because they were lucky enough to be online when it happened almost made me quit this game. being able to sell millions of food water ore etc was useful to generate a little extra income but im not gonna do it for 50 grand or 5 million. its a time waster and chump change. it needs to be worthwhile for somebody who already has 100 billion dollars to play too. i have 500 million+ storage on my map.
a private area on the gbt would be cool to where colonies could trade directly with each other
more interaction with other colonies would be cool, as would the ability to attack them/raid/etc. weapons, defenses could be like resources, it wouldn't take much and would massively boost interaction between colonies.

Unfortunately ape apps support seems to think that this is actually normal. This occurs when you hit 2,000 people and instead of treating each person individually as far as their health and unemployment goes the game treats your population as a collective instead, so because of this it messes everything up. They say that it's to help with performance. I don't know if they're going to fix it, to me it sounded like they are not. Below is the email I got back from them:
"It happens after 2000. After that, the colonists are simulated as a large group instead of individually (for performance reasons) and the stats on buildings are no longer completely accurate."

On the Web version of My Colony, the Facebook login button has now been replaced by an Ape Apps Account login button. Logging in gives you something like this:
Keep in mind you may have to do a hard-reload for everything to work correctly.
As of this moment, the only thing it does for you is unlock your premium upgrade if you have already added your .amk file to your Ape Apps Account. So if you have uploaded it, you will no longer need to use your key file when playing on the Web version any more. Soon, if you are logged in on both Web and Android (for instance), it will automatically carry your premium upgrade from one device to the other, so I will no longer have to deal with all of the daily "i need my amk file" emails anymore!
The account integration will be expanded over the coming weeks, leading up to v0.53.0 where it will be coming to all platforms. v0.53.0 will also tie all online colonies to your account, and introduce a revamped my-colony.com website where you can log into your Ape Apps account and do some management of your linked colonies and commonwealths right from within your browser.
Additionally, v0.53.0 is bringing in-game commonwealth chat to the game. Each commonwealth will be getting it's own chat room. It will be powered by the same chat that the website uses and will be coming to all platforms. I am also adding optional email notifications and perhaps push notifications for events like new colonies joining your commonwealth or when you get an in-game message.
There is also a brand new achievements and ranking system coming, also tied to your account. I am also looking into ways to tie the game more closely into the forum here, letting you display achievements or things you got in-game onto your profile.

If you open the key file using a file manager app, or even email it to yourself and click on the attachment that way, it should allow you to open the key using the app
@DeepSpaceSteve - the apk file is what is given to you and/or emailed to you when you purchase Premium on the PC/Mac. If you have the email still, you should have it and you can log into your ape apps account and upload it there.

Sorry I missed the email. What is wrong with the amk files? I don't have any different ad-free.apk's so I would have to create something special just for this, but if that is what you really need then we can talk.
I sent an email to the support mail address regarding the topic mentioned. I had to reinstall my OS on the PC And the MC .amk was lost. I sent the mail on Feb 18th 2018 and still haven't received an answer. Should I re-send the E-mail?

If you bought it on Windows or Android, it should automatically tell the server about it when you are signed in to the game with your Ape Apps Account.
If it doesn't work, email me or PM me and let me know. If you already emailed me, know that I was out of town for a week and a half and I have over 8400 unread emails, so I might have missed it :-/
