Ape Apps

There will be more civilizations coming to Antiquitas this year for sure. There is a lot more coming for this game, I have just been too busy getting the Ape Apps Account stuff ready for cross platform launch later this month to work on any of the games. But I will be back in full swing in a few weeks!

Humm Well Bast you should know my colony is the second most detailed building game and when you Add the Lawyers ( oppes politicians ) Opps again I mean reptiles it will be the most detailed .
I wonder if you realize just how poplar you have gotten ?
A million downloads Congrads you earned it .
The day I found my colony I know it could get here so glad it has .
ten years from now it will still be played and downloaded you beat the odds

I agree, My colony and Antiquitas have so much of what all other mobile games lack, the ability to play a game in real-time without having to buy more "gems" or whatever the other games make you buy to get further into a game. Antiquitas is a true city builder, and I think that you've found a niche that will reward you for years to come. Many people, myself included, have searched and searched the app store looking for a game like this but always would end up finding cheap IAP games. This game, being free to play AND without IAP's, is going to hit the motherload, because there are so many people out there that remember the desktop sim city series and want to see that kind of gameplay brought to the mobile app stores; and this game and My colony are built off of that type of gameplay.

I just hope that you don't incur the wrath of the mega-corps, like Maxis, when they see that this game and My-colony may outmatch their game if they were to spread far enough. And even if that were to happen, maybe Maxis may see the error in it's ways and bring desktop style sim city to the mobile app store, instead of Sim City Buildit, which is a complete joke and a waste of time. In fact, I hope that this game causes all of the IAP colony/city building game producers to work toward ridding their games of IAP's, but if that were to happen, you would have some serious and potentially overwhelming competition going on.

Well I don't think I have to completely worry about the mega-corps since realistically there is not much profit in the way My Colony and Antiquitas work. To support more than one developer they would have to be IAP-fests like all of the other games out there, or cost $50-$70 up front like PC games do now. Especially when you consider games like Sim City Buildit probably have an entire team behind them which all need to get paid, and also return profits to the company at large.

lol maxis no longer excists EA bought wills stuff .
wile they may not worry over your games they have already noticed .
and are wateing to see how far it goes .
They may not give a darn about the game its self but ( honestly I am surprised they have not already asked about how your doing the script .

DUDE they Could really use your talent .

Really wish you did program for them you could do major improvements on that programming .
Wish that game was more playable loved it back in the day .

I have to agree that you should update and add to this game even if the downloads are slim, it may be a case of people playing a while then with it not being updated or added to may wander and delete off their systems never venturing into the prem version, im sure some of us can help ease the burden of some of the graphic content so that bast can concentrate on the mechanics.
