I started having this problem on March 3, 2018. Before this, all was fine, but on the 3rd I noticed that my Small Research buildings were not being supplied with workers. I started new colonies, even re-installed the app, but it's not working. I currently have 13 unemployed yet my Research building only has 1 worker and it's been 2 days since I created the Research building.

My stats are:
MyColony v.0.58.0
Win10

This creates major issues since without any research you cannot move the colony forward.

I am not sure as I am past this point, but it sounds like an education issue. Build education buildings so they can be smart enough for researching, and have some unemployed workers so they actually use the education buildings. Hope that helps.

I'm having this issue as well, fully staffed buildings with no one working.

As soon as I click view workers, all of a sudden everyone gets to work.

Fire drill doesn't fix, nor does changing the workload.

In addition, some buildings will fire/evict everybody if I click view all workers, like the investment bank or the arcology.

That would make sense if the Education Building was available in the beginning. However, I've only seen them much later on....AFTER doing much research. As it stands, with one Research Building and one employee, it will take a very long time before I can even do the research for the Advanced Hydroponics.

I see in the Release Notes where this change is mentioned. However, IF education is going to be a priority for research buildings, then the education building should be available early on. Otherwise, I'll have 50 unemployed people sitting around doing nothing but eating up resources and not being productive.

My Colony Build v0.59.0 - Microsoft 10 - I am having a problem with workers. A business will say that it is full of employees but if I try to manage them it might show me one worker off duty. Also my econ graph shows that all jobs are full when they are not. I hope that I have reported this glitch in the expected manner. Thank you for your time

How can a worker be sleeping and working at the same time?
I really love this game and hope that you can get these worker bugs fixed. Good luck and thank you

I'm having this issue too. I have to go to show workers to get production. Example: a building shows 2/38/40 then I hit show workers and it goes to 38/38/40. It's incredibly time consuming to go to every atmo converter and farm to get it back. I've been buying food and water for weeks now cuz I'm not producing. I also have 10% unemployment and the same for open jobs. This started happening after a fire drill

I think there is an issue with the population "Moving."
These members of the population are in lock step with the members that are "Protesting", but are clearly listed as "Moving."
I believe this is a bug, unless there is a silent Protest, that I don't know about.
