tate that when people stop working they only have about 50% energy and the fact is that they are not going to be entertained in the pu or reres internet at this time so it is perhaps what causes the bug

I experienced this problem of huge unemployment figures when letting buildings deactivated. It got solved and I got 0% unemployment when the workers who kept (not) working in the ghost factory where walked out. Try it!

Buuut... Oh, suddenly, while I was building a new hydrogen plant, food began to go down. I went to check employees in my fish hatcheries, they seem to have people working. As soon as I came out of the factory stats window, people began to walk out of the plant! And the factory's preview window showed 0/0/14. So the problem is happening to me too the same way you tell it.

I'm on android, 0.52 build.

Yeah sadly I have 2 massive bugs that have killed my games. This time this one takes the cake. I have to stop playing find another game for now. I hope the devs able to fix it but I don't see him posting here much on these big bug threads.

This bug appeared a good six months ago (or more) and is the reason why I stopped playing way back then. I've tried the game a couple of times since then hoping it had been taken care of, but it hasn't been. I'm still seeing the same employment issues, and it makes the game completely unplayable. It's also sad that it only appears once you've put a fair amount of time into the game to get to a few thousand colonists. This is an otherwise great game and the performance improvements have been fantastic! I'd love to play it, but every time I try my colony gets hit by this bug. Please fix this - new features are great, but critical bugs should take priority over new features.

zoness you are right the catastrophic bug is a priority to correct when the additions must be done after the correction of the critical bug I hope that in the 0.53 BAST will correct this bug because the game is unplayable

I know this is an old thread but this is still happening for me. I haven't played since August 2017 and back then everything was OK. Now it happend to my main colony, too bad, and since I got more than 3000 colonists in my other colony it started to happen again ! Tried everything. I always have :
24% unemployment.
88% filled jobs.
99% approval rating.
0% homeless rate.
around 10% on duty workers on all buildings.
Workers are not far from their homes.

The "funny" thing is that not a lot of colonists are using the entertainment facilities (195/3159 out of 23000 population) and the schools seems to always be full...don't know if it's normal ...

This game is awesome, please fix it ! I can provide the mcb or mcz files or any other info.
Tried to run on web on 0.60.0, the bug remains...
