Ape Apps

iOS updated to 11 today and after the update the game only open and shows the first screen before main menu and then the screen turns black and that’s it. I closed every app and restarted the iPhone and the problem is still there. Maybe a small update will get the game back. Also I was still having the save issue where the game crashes at saving.

I am on IOS 11 aswell, Iphone 5s and the game can launch and i can play my colonies, but i can't save my main. It crashe at "creating backup" or at "saving data". Plus my actual main save is at 14.675.729 atmosphere wich is really frustrating.

On my iPhone 7 iOS 11 game 0.43.1 I can’t open any colony nor create a new one bc I can’t reach the main menu. I had the crash when saving, I had a trick for get the game saved and was when the game got stuck on the save message, I tried to build something in a occupied tile so I could get the “location blocked” error, after that I just closed the game and it was saved properly. Also avoiding the stats screen, building menu or GTB screen at the moment the game tries to save helps.

I can't build things, my game freeze (i know i said crash before sorry) so this technique doesn't work. And i don't know how yo fix your loading issue, except asking if you have a good wifi.

So i guess noone knows why?

0.44.0 was released to all platforms Thursday afternoon (09-20-2017). Apple users are usually the last to get the updates because of Apple's app store policies. Update to the new version once it is available and let us know if that fixes your issue. Thanks!

I just updated to 0.44.0 and the problem is still happening. After the orange screen with “ape-apps” at the bottom, the screen goes black without displaying the main menu. The attached video shows the game just updated and the problem. I had nothing else opened. Internet connection was good. If I disable Game Center it will ask me to login and then the screen goes black. I can’t reinstall the game because cloud files were not opening back in the game. My main hasn’t been played since Tuesday 19. I need this fixed ASAP please.

What iOS device/model do you have? On an iPhone 7 mine opens up and plays just fine on 0.44.0

I use an iphone 5s, and i downloaded 0.44, still not fixed

iPhone 7 MN962B/A before iOS 11 the game worked but had the save issue. After updating to iOS 11 I couldn’t play anymore. 0.43.1 and 0.44 doesn’t work on iPhone 7 with iOS 11
