Forum Updates

Made a few updates to the forum today. The chat window should now keep proper time when you reload the page. Chat also works on MS Edge now. There is a new search function at the top of the page, but you might have to do a hard-reload on your browser to update your scripts that make it work. The New Post screen how has a "smiley" picker, and :-) in posts are no longer auto-converted into smileys. Clicking on a user's post count in their wall now shows their recent posts.

Still got a lot of work to do but its coming along. Keep up with the suggestions and feedback. Next I am adding subscribe to threads and in-forum alerts. I might add a service worker that allows you to get desktop/mobile notifications (optional) when you have new messages or a thread is updated, even when you are not currently on the page.

Out of curiosity, can you add the ability to have non-military time. I would really like it to show am/pm in local time (and I FINALLY found where to change to local time...).

Also, can you make it easier to find the account management page? or just have it as the page we go to instead of our wall? Then the wall can be accessed/edited there.

I’ll see what I can do for you.

Please, update forum so there is clear distinction between read and unread topic. Also add "first unread post" feature just to know when someone add some new post into thread.
