Check your Render FPS Cap
I was wondering why my game was all jittery and why production, decay, and repairs were going at runway speeds so I checked my Engine Settings and discovered that somehow my Render FPS Cap was changed from "no cap" to "medium cap."
Engine Settings > Render FPS Cap
As the setting itself says capping render fps will speed the game up, but make it choppier.

Yes I did add a change in v0.50.0 where the game now automatically monitors your FPS and will start to cap the rendering thread a bit if the simulation speed is falling behind. Once you change the setting manually though, it will not longer do the automatic monitoring.
The main purpose is for trying to keep simulation speed constant across devices. It is not so critical for My Colony, but will be necessary for online multiplayer in Colony Wars, which will use this same engine. It also makes the resource production/minute calculations people do more consistent across devices.

Ah! So should I revert my game to medium cap then?

Only if you want to, it doesn't matter really. There is a tradeoff between visual looks and performance, just pick which looks best to you.

duno if it is really working mine went on high cap while the game is freezing all the time (and it was low before)
