Prestige

I was wondering if you bast would like to add prestige. Like if you reach a certain level you can go to another planet and colonize there. Because you have more 'experience' on colonizing you earn 'experience points' and with those you can unlock much more advanced research and buildings (like jova's Congress Palace). @bastecklein

You also begin with your commonwealth and independence. And you commonwealth gets a Prestige 1 badge next to it :)

There should be a new building called Rocket Level 1 that lets you travel to Prestige 1 planets. It should maybe be the cost of 100 investment banks. And in the Prestige 1 world there is a building called Rocket Level 2 etc.

This isn't really the point of the game. The point is to work towards Independence, then run a successful CW, and a peaceful (except Robberies if added) colony. I would DEFINITELY say no to Prestige. Just my thoughts, though.

Go Pittsburgh Penguins!!

The point of the game CAN get more complicated though.

I would never play a game that's like "You've got this, you're done. Bye!"

Same. IF anything, allowing connection to other world would be more of an option, and would also allow for some truly unforgiving and otherwise nearly impossible map types in the future. Say a lava planet where making food let alone water is a massive challenge in of itself.

Like say, you totally beat a world and want something tougher. Could build a Rocket Platform which would very slowly build a rocket at the expense of nearly every resource maybe except for Alien Artifacts. You'd then start a world that's in the same world save, but would default to Small size. A percentage you could set of each resource up to a maximum total storage capacity over all resources loaded into the rocket would allow you to carry over resources, and you would keep your technology progress, but some of it wouldn't work, causing you to adapt and learn the new environment.

Then again though, I could see it being a bit too ambitious for this game. Multi-map is really tough to do, as far as I know, only one game has ever pulled it off well enough for it to not ruin the game.

It is as easy as making a new world like Ice World except that you need to store it in the same save file?
Bast is a really good programmer though. He can make all these things BY HIMSELF.
Maybe you get multiple Prestige 1 planets to choose from, for example

Pluto:
Without Heat buildings, colonists freeze and are immobile for a long time.
Everyone walks a lot faster (gravity).

Ceres:
Everything goes faster.
No larger than Large.

Eris:
Build slower.

We could add Prestige currency. Could have a great metal that you smelt 1k Aluminum for :)
