0.44.0 Chrome
Can no longer change a employ's job by hand . NEW colony .
At the start of a colony I usually place employ's so food plants get filled first and fast .
Click building- click employ's -click one -click change job -click on building that has open jobs and nothing .
Only thing I can do is dismiss the pop up box .

Same problem here on windows 8.1 desktop, MC 0.44. Can't change jobs for a single colonist. I click colonist > Click change job > click the building and the only option left is the cancel button at the bottom left corner of the game window.

I have also noticed this recently. I use the Windows Native client (not the html5 version) and I like to sometimes change colonists jobs but it hasn't been working lately. I will show buildings not being fully staffed but can't change a colonists job (from a deactivated building for example) to that understaffed building.

Suspect that it may have to do with how colonists are currently handled as the population resource and that economy stat page don't always match, especially over a few thousand. Stat page can show I have unfilled jobs and no unemployed colonists, while the resource section of the UI can show I have unemployed colonists. Quite often I have found that what a building shows for employment may not be correct.
