Sending a message from global chat
Hello,
Since what looks like a massive amount of use of the global chat this idea is to bring up a stats of that colony (similar to that of the embassy menu).
The data available would be able to send someone a direct message(useful for trading), see the GDP and population of the colony as well as the other basic information, the option to send a diplomatic mission and finally to bring up the colony's website

I was thinking the same thing. Check v0.93.0 on web. When a chat notification comes up now, click on it.
