Issue when loading a colony in Steam

I encountered the following error message when trying to load a colony via Steam application :

Project Error!

Unable to open project directory : [object Promise]

Error : ENOENT : no such file or directory, scandir 'C:\Program Files\(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\My Colony\[object Promise]'

I tried uninstalling My Colony Steam application and reinstalled it, the same error still appears. Has anyone encountered this issue?

Try uninstalling the game again close down steam completely (use the control panel if you have to) then restart it as an administrator. Then reinstall it again as administrator.

That error is usually caused by permission errors.

I think this is actually a bug that will be fixed for 0.94.0.

As an update :

- Reinstalling the game and running as administrator as Cry suggested didn't work

What finally worked was :
a. The issue was caused by me accidentally clicking Change Save File Location, which is available for Steam version, even when I selected Cancel afterwards and didn't change the file location.
b. So I selected the Change Save File Location again, and chose the folder where the game originally saved the save file. (i.e. Users>Documents).
c. This exact method didn't work before 0.9.4. When the game was updated to 0.9.4, initially the same error message (etc etc Object Promise) still appeared. However, when I re-tried returning the save file location as in part (b) above post 0.9.4, the issue is now fixed and there is no more error message.

Another player seems to be having the same issue and posted on Reddit : https://www.reddit.com/r/MyColony/comments/cze78i/save_file_location_accident/. I have an issue with my Reddit account, if anybody would be so kind to help post this solution to the Reddit post guy, it would be great.

Thanks @MizarAlcor yeah the issue was with the Move Folder Location function prior to v0.94.0.
