It would add a bit of realism to the game if after you replenish a planets atmosphere its sky would start showing clouds. The clouds would be slightly transparent and emit water, which can be collected for use in a colony during its first few days before any advanced technology is built. Clouds can also emit lightning from time to time, which can destroy/damage buildings.
Weather would be fun. Natural disasters perhaps? Will need an "off" setting of course!

Yes weather would be nice.
Maybe 3 settings:
-no weather (no clouds and no effects)
-superficial weather (only visual, client-wide setting)
-weather and natural disasters (server-wide setting)
