and kind of funny just take a look at the photo . Honestly way to dark and changing day night cycle does nothing .

Some people enjoy the day/night cycle while others do not. That's why there is an on/off toggle switch in the engine settings.

It does nothing on ice world and as you should be able to see !!!! the night cycle is only covering 3/4 of the map !!!!
Ice world is stuck in night mode and made that way But ovesly there is a coverage issue

Does this still happen on Chrome, hard refresh, 0.47.0? I cannot reproduce.

just did a hard reload still that way .
Looks like the code is a bit short on coverage lol .
And yes 100 % sure it is .47.0
as I now have a cloth plant on ice bug world .
Sure was not on a bugs world yesterday lol
O and it was not like this yesterday .

I like the day/night cycle but on my screen on an ice world it's very hard to see anything when I'm outside (too much glare) even with my phone at the brightest. I also tried turning it off but Ice world is always pretty dark (by design, I know, which is why solar power ain't a thing there) so it doesn't help. Of course the lights you can build do help a lot, so I'm not sure I'd even turn it off if I had a way.

Can you give me more info on your system? Chrome version, 32/64 bit, operating system, OS version, screen resolution?

chrome 32 bit windows 7 pro screen 1024 by 600
But I do believe i know were it is at .

No luck my eye site is old so I use the + - built into windows and have the browser set at 80 % of 100 % which incress the letter size as much as possible wile still letting me have the building side bar .
so i went in and changed it to defalt nada starting playing around going from - 75% to + 110
no change in the size of the dark square .
I have two other browsers that will also play the game ill import the colony into each ( one is just the works version of chrome ) teh other is torch .
ether way it still would have been a programming change as night worked yesterday on bug ice world
same effect on torch .

It has got to be something you changed with .47.0
as i say night on bug ice world worked yesterday when it was .46.0

any colony i put into night mode does the same thing the only difference being the others day mode truns on
works on android
desktop version works
64 bit chrome windows 7 works
looks like its a 32 bit chrome issue
