Huge Tax from galactic emperor - Page 2

I wasn't aware of the downside of my fat wallet.
What's a good order of magnitude to stay at? I made my first quadrillion the other day.

I have a 2 week old colony that was just hit with a 2.5 trillion dollar tax bill. I paid it and sold one contract for 4 trillion in 35 minutes. I'm a business man.

This is absolutely ridiculous! I made those trillions on my own.

I sold everything on the market for well below market prices just to help up and coming colonies but if this is how it's going to work then I will gouge every penny from the market.

This action will collapse the market.

I think it will be fine. If you want to 'gouge every penny from the market' then that is up to you.

I dont know I never bother having much over 5 trillion I start selling resources for 1$ on the 100 .

As for this tax thing who cares ( if I won a 5 million dollar lotto and gave my son a million so what i am going to starve on 4 million ?
People are so weird about money .
A what every that word is amount of coins so what you going to do pay the world dept ? lol

so what? if you have that much the market shouldnt be a concern. Or just see it as a sign to produce everything yourself and not rely on the market. When you're independent you only need money to pay your workers and the payroll assistance but that is compensated with taxes. you dont need trillions or billions for that.

note to @nunez499.
The thing is that the market should collapse. Bast wanted to have better and fairer prices. it was nearly impossible to buy anything from gbt if you are in early game.

We need more than just windfall tax for that.

I don’t understand how this will “balance” the game. They’re no rankings. Having a lot of money is good if you need 10M aluminium fast and don’t want to scroll and buy every 100k. I made all my money selling on the market and as far as I know I didn’t used any exploit or glitch. Part of my money was going to the colonies that started on my commonwealth and some resources as well. I had a hard time getting all that money because the game always loved to crash after I opened the gifts or crashed when trying to save and I lost a lot more. 12.000.000.000.000+ was taken form my main and I only got 600.000.000.000+ left. After I can play again I won’t get anything to new players and I will sell for 20 times market price. New players will get a lot of taxes now and no payroll.

That's the exact idea / cause of the problem. Ppl using the market. Or better exploiting. It's really simple if everyone would be patient and willing to produce everything themselves this tax wouldn't exist.
