Just an update for the wood resourse, and maybe others such as some base res like H3. Plz and thank you.

This is a quick one bc I'm sleepy and dont want to work hard. So bugger off, and dont criticize me.
Just a good dude with a bunch or ideas.

For Human (the only race with wood problem):

Online game: the quick way consist in to create a new insect colony (poss region map), it's the easy way to obtain wood - aluminium - uranium - diamond - clay - clothes, until the human colony can make converter and Center for Relic Studies.

Offline game: make money and buy it.. :/

BUT lots of entities causes lag in mobile devices, especially those poor.
Also, one unit of fir tree provides very few wood (only 15). That’ll require a large plot of land to provide a large amount of wood.
Unless human have megatrees, otherwise growing trees using lumberbots is a dumb way to produce wood.

Honestly, i got wood problem only with some building, and only in the latest game stage (converter, ships buildings, when you try to build 4000 banks for fast civics, for build many ships buildings..), for example, aluminium is by far a worse problem, or brick/pottery, the only way for me was to buy several million at the import/export. No way i was able to build enough brick/pottery factory for supply my internal demands, and the GBT was empty.

EDIT: or uranium.. is not quite simple to increase. In any case, for wood.. with some tree farm most colony should have a decent production for supply the internal demands.

If I remember, Luker had ideas about the clay mixing plants.

Meanwhile wood production is considered slow by me. Setting lots of tree farm and taking lots of land isn’t very efficient at all.

Yes, i agreer, but... I don't remember many wood problem in the old day (i mean early 2019). And the problem has become real with the starship yard.

A low production is'nt a problem if the consume are low.

Yes wood is indeed an issue. Not only it is needed for construction of a number of buildings, it is also a precursor material to manufacture finished products such as plastics, sugar, and toy. It is understandable for a human colony to have bottleneck of aluminum and uranium mid-game, but those 2 resources are intended to be challenge bottleneck for colony development, and they will be resolved once relic studies and alien enrichment are unlocked.

However, midgame wood issue can only be resolved with either constantly buying wood from GBT or importing, or making a zolarg alt. This is due to lack of midgame wood producing building, which can either produce more wood than tree farms, or take much less space than a 5x5.

Yes at the very late game research converters can supply wood among others, but by the time research converter is unlocked, it is already late game anyways. The rest of the resources (except maybe clay to a lesser extent than wood as mentioned above), do not have this issue once midgame upgraded buildings are unlocked.
